The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Westbrook has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Petit is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Westbrook throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Westbrook keeps the fight on the outside.

Westbrook lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Westbrook throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Petit stumbling backwards into the cage! Petit bounces back off the cage towards Westbrook, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Westbrook lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Westbrook celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
