Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michaelangelo Van Der Poel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Tretow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Der Poel comes to the cage accompanied by Potemkin City limits. Tretow has chosen Days of Thunder as his entrance music. Dennis Tretow told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Der Poel is looking to clinch.
Tretow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Van Der Poel misses with a two punch combination.
Van Der Poel throws a series of punches but Tretow avoids them all with ease.
Van Der Poel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Van Der Poel dodges the punch combination from Tretow.
Tretow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Van Der Poel lands a jab.
Michaelangelo Van Der Poel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice combination there by Tretow.
Tretow has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Dennis Tretow has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Van Der Poel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tretow.
Tretow tries to move into range but Van Der Poel moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Tretow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Van Der Poel rushes Tretow with punches - Tretow moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Tretow goes down! Van Der Poel follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
