PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bob Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shah Rokhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Little bit Counrty. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Barker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shah Rokhan!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barker scores with a jab to the body.
Rokhan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barker tries to avoid it but Rokhan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barker to the ground. Barker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rokhan wants to clinch.
Rokhan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barker pinned against the cage. Barker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Barker stuffs the takedown.
Bob Barker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shah Rokhan.
Barker misses with a wild combination.
Rokhan fails to land the takedown.
Rokhan misses with a takedown attempt - Barker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Barker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rokhan lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Barker backwards.

Rokhan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Barker momentarily.
Barker looks to land a combination but Rokhan avoids it well.

and Barker counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Barker.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Let's hope that Rokhan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
