Pound has chosen Pants On The Ground as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pound lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Render circles away quickly and effectively.
Pound closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Render to the mat! Render manages to get full guard.
Render keeping moving, preventing Pound from controlling successfully.
Render knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pound on the ground.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Pound's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
It looks like Matthew Render has been cut.
Pound stands up over Render, holding on to his feet. Pound throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Render is out cold! Pound lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Puncho Pound!
