Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Hartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hartman comes to the ring accompanied by Whitechapel - Possession. Silva has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Gabriel Hartman has been cut.
Hartman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silva.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hartman moves away.
Silva fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hartman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Silva gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva lands with a right to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva prevents a takedown attempt there.
Silva scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Silva connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hartman's face.
Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Hartman blocks it with crossed arms.
Silva gets through Hartman's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Silva cracks Hartman with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hartman looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Silva finish him?

Gabriel Hartman's cut is getting worse.
Silva throws a series of punches but Hartman moves out of range.

Silva has closed the distance and engaged Hartman in a clinch.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Hartman as Silva tries to tie him up.
Silva connects with a nasty looking knee right to Hartman's face.
Silva lands a shoulder strike.
Silva with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.

Gabriel Hartman's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Silva gets underhooks to prevent Hartman's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Hartman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hartman is breathing heavily.
Silva lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Silva has Hartman pressed against the ropes.

Silva lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Silva lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hartman or not.
Silva lands a shoulder strike.

Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hartman slips a jab and a cross from Silva.

Silva rushes Hartman and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Silva lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hartman backwards.
Silva lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Silva lands a left and a right that send Hartman crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gabriel Hartman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
