Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Spinbob Cantrell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Danilo Shadow!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cantrell swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice body kick from Cantrell.
Cantrell has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cantrell tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Cantrell digs a right hand into Shadow's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Shadow's gas tank.
Cantrell has Shadow pushed against the cage.
Cantrell blocks a body shot from Shadow.
Cantrell is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Shadow is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cantrell blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Shadow has picked Cantrell up - he's going for a ride! Shadow dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Cantrell regains full guard. Nicely done.
Cantrell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Shadow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Cantrell has Shadow up against the cage in a clinch.
Cantrell lands a good knee to the midsection. Shadow won't want to take too many of those.

Shadow is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Cantrell breaks the clinch.
Spinbob Cantrell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shadow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cantrell defends it nicely.
Spinbob Cantrell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cantrell throws a nice head kick!
Shadow chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Cantrell can pounce on him.

Cantrell explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Shadow looks gassed!
Cantrell throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cantrell gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cantrell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Cantrell turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Shadow takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Danilo Shadow has been cut.
Cantrell rushes Shadow and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cantrell unloads a knee to the mid-section. Shadow lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Shadow takes a knee to the side of the body.
Cantrell lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Cantrell utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Cantrell putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Shadow in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Cantrell connects with a nasty looking knee right to Shadow's face.
Shadow is rocked!
Cantrell has Shadow pressed against the cage. He pushes Shadow back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Cantrell throws a beautiful elbow that sends Shadow crashing to the floor! Cantrell piles on the pressure with more strikes! Shadow is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Spinbob Cantrell!
