Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Barack Obina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcelo Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Obina comes to the cage accompanied by Obina. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Obina but Obina pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Obina swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Obina fails to land with a series of punches.
Obina gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Garcia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Obina.
Obina throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Obina ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Garcia moves away.
Garcia misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Garcia tries for a takedown but Obina sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Barack Obina has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcelo Garcia.
Garcia throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Obina's waist but Obina gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Garcia off to one side.

Garcia closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Obina did well to prevent Garcia getting side control.

Obina throws a hook but Garcia blocks it.
Garcia bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Obina lands a left and a right that send Garcia crashing to the mat, dazed. Obina thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Marcelo Garcia has been cut.
Obina tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garcia was well out of range. Poor timing from Obina.

Garcia throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Garcia looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Obina thuds a left hand into Garcia's body.

Obina tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Garcia was well out of range. Poor timing from Obina.
Garcia is breathing heavily.
Obina connects with a nice cross there... Garcia is looking wobbly and Obina recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Garcia to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Obina jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
