PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liam Harnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronan Patterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harnett's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, on the busses film tune . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harnett gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Harnett is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Harnett is on top in guard.

Harnett is pressed up against the cage. Patterson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Harnett down to the mat. Harnett avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Harnett counters with a head kick. That will keep Patterson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Liam Harnett.
