The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halfdead tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slivers paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Slivers looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Slivers fails to land the takedown.
Slivers throws a sloppy head kick and Halfdead moves out of range easily.
Halfdead ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Slivers moves away.
Halfdead with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Slivers to score with a decent uppercut.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Slivers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Halfdead on the ground.
Halfdead is looking to improve his position but Slivers isn't that keen on the idea.
Slivers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Halfdead is looking to escape.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Halfdead cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to West Slivers.
