Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Peachey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Kharkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peachey comes to the cage accompanied by Sound of Madness by Shinedown. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharkov blocks a leg kick.
Kharkov throws a head kick but Peachey moves out of range.
Kharkov keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A nice leg kick lands there from Peachey.
Kharkov throws a head kick that misses.
Peachey lands a right hook to the body.
Kharkov pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Peachey moves into the clinch successfully.
Kharkov tries to pull guard but Peachey won't allow it.

Peachey drops Kharkov with a left right combo! Peachey follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Ivan Kharkov has been cut.
Peachey throwing strikes but Kharkov manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Peachey tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Peachey is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kharkov off and has taken his back!

Peachey is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kharkov is defending well though. Peachey let's go of the attempt for now.

Kharkov is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Peachey gets his way!
Peachey scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Kharkov is looking for a way out.

Peachey is not going to allow Kharkov to sit and survive in this position.

Kharkov is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kharkov trying to control the hands but Peachey won't let him.

Peachey goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Kharkov escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Peachey is looking for a sweep. Kharkov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kharkov is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Peachey has managed to free his arm - good work.
Peachey is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kharkov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Peachey doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kharkov.
Peachey wants to improve his position but Kharkov is controlling well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kharkov is trying to work for a kimura but Peachey is defending well.
Kharkov prevents Peachey from improving his position.
Peachey slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Peachey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kharkov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kharkov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's time! Peachey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Peachey throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kharkov throws a shot from downtown. Peachey moves away and avoids it.
Peachey misses the shot to the body.
Kharkov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peachey.
Kharkov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Peachey's waist but Peachey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kharkov off to one side.

Peachey rushes Kharkov and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Peachey is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kharkov can't fight it off and eventually Peachey manages to take the fight to the floor. Kharkov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Peachey drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kharkov dives on top into guard.

Kharkov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Peachey is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kharkov, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kharkov is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Peachey frees his head nicely. Oh but Kharkov has switched to an armbar! Peachey is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Ivan Kharkov!
