Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mehu Katti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Katti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Katti lands a jab to the head.
Chong misses with a double jab
and Katti counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Katti is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Katti prevents Chong from getting back to his feet.
Katti wants to pass the guard but Chong is keeping the position.
Chong is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Katti is controlling him.
Katti tries to free his leg and advance position but Chong is retaining full guard.

Chong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Katti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Chong falls off balance throwing a combination
and Katti cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Katti counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Chong is rocked!
Chen Chong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chong looks gassed!
Chong dodges the punch combination from Katti.
Chong lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Chong.
Katti slips a jab and a cross from Chong.

Katti connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chong momentarily.
Katti shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Chong is still in real trouble! Can Katti finish him?
Chong wants to get back to his feet.
Chong seems to have recovered his senses.
Katti is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Chong is forced to tap! Great finish!
