Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Kamionka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Barbosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos Barbosa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Barbosa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kamionka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barbosa swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Barbosa tries to close the distance and clinch but Kamionka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Barbosa dives in and grabs Kamionka's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kamionka pushes down on Barbosa's head and hops out.

Kamionka bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Barbosa's head backwards.
Kamionka circles away from the clinch attempt.

Barbosa shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kamionka pinned against the cage. Kamionka gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pavel Kamionka has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcos Barbosa.
Kamionka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
