The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
manning shoots in looking for a takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl out of it but manning keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jackson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
manning looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jackson wants to get back to his feet.

Jackson is looking for a kimura but manning is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jackson to get the leverage.

Jackson decides to stand and escape the position.

Jackson has manning up against the cage in a clinch.
manning has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jackson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jackson lands with a right and another and another! manning is in big trouble! Jackson lands again and this time it's lights out for manning! A quality knockout there for Jackson.
