The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metro stuffs the takedown.
Metro looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bronca is trying hard to land a takedown here. Metro sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Metro fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bronca, pushing him back against the ropes.

Bronca ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bronca no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bronca working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Metro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Metro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bronca is on top in guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Bronca has hold of Metro's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Metro seems comfortable defending it but Bronca has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Metro is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Metro is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bronca couldn't care less - he's delighted!
