Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blake Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pikku Prinssi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prinssi has chosen Pulp Fiction - Royal with Cheese as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard.

Prinssi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Prinssi tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Prinssi takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prinssi gets back to half guard.
Jones working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Prinssi's thigh. Prinssi counters though and makes it back to full guard.

Prinssi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jones defends well.

Prinssi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Jones!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones tries to lock up and control but Prinssi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Prinssi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.

Jones wants to sweep but no luck.

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Prinssi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jones holds on and takes a little breather.
Jones manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Prinssi manages to get himself to full guard.
Jones is pushing down on Prinssi's leg trying to pass to half guard. Prinssi is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.
Jones looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Prinssi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Prinssi wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.

Jones thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Prinssi's head.
Prinssi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Prinssi wants to sweep but no luck.
Jones distracts Prinssi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Jones works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Prinssi is defending well.
Jones landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Jones not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

No joy there for Prinssi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Jones looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Prinssi covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
