The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astyages throws a jab but it's blocked by Robson.
Robson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Astyages.
Robson avoids the body shot from Astyages.
Robson looks to land a combination but Astyages avoids it well.
Robson misses with a double jab.
Robson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Astyages fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Robson avoids it really well and circles away.
Astyages scores with a hook.

Robson leaves Astyages with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rampage Robson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alistar Astyages.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Robson misses with a head kick.

Astyages swings for the body but Robson moves out of range.

and Robson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Astyages throws a hook but Robson blocks it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Robson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Robson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Astyages tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Robson swivels and escapes.

Rampage Robson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Robson throws a leg kick which misses Astyages's front leg but catches the back leg as Astyages tries to avoid it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Astyages drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Astyages trying to control but Robson is working from the bottom.
Robson is trying to keep Astyages in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Astyages trying to control the position from guard on top but Robson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Astyages postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Robson has his foot on Astyages's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Astyages works his way back into a safe position though.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Astyages fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Astyages fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Robson on the side of the head.
Astyages tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Robson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A nice leg kick lands there from Robson.
Robson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Astyages avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Astyages lands a nice looking body shot.

Astyages lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robson circles away quickly and effectively.
Robson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Astyages has his takedown stuffed
and Robson counters with an outside leg kick.
Astyages lands a lovely overhand right.
Astyages rushes Robson with punches - Robson moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Robson goes down! Astyages follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
