Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shiro Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andrew Andrews has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Andrews!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shiro Yamada!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamada throws a nice looking combination but Andrews bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Andrews shoots in for a takedown but Yamada shows good takedown defense.

Yamada drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Andrews manages to work his way to half guard, despite Yamada's best efforts.
Andrews is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Andrews is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Yamada goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Andrews is on top in guard.

Andrews would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Yamada scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Andrews shoots for a takedown but Yamada saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Yamada shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Andrews is trying to defend but Yamada finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Yamada throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Shiro Yamada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Andrews swats away the attempt to clinch by Yamada.
Yamada goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Yamada looks to land a combination but Andrews avoids it well.

Yamada swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Yamada fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Andrews on the side of the head.

Yamada pushes Andrews up against the ropes in a clinch.

Yamada breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Shiro Yamada comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yamada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
