Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Supreme Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sika Niska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Supreme Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sika Niska!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Knight stops Niska from standing up.
Knight trying to control but Niska is working from the bottom.
Knight postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Niska wants to stand and escape but Knight is having none of it.

Knight gets to his feet. Niska looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Knight dives in and grabs Niska's left leg, looking for a takedown. Niska pushes down on Knight's head and hops out.
Niska slips a jab and a cross from Knight.

Knight takes the fight into the clinch.

Niska breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice sprawl there from Niska as Knight shoots in.
Knight is looking to clinch.
Knight swats away the attempt to clinch by Niska.
Knight is trying hard to land a takedown here. Niska sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Knight goes for a takedown in the clinch but Niska prevents it.

and Knight decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Niska's guard.
Knight wants to stand and escape but instead Niska has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Niska kicks Knight off and gets back to his feet.
Sika Niska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Niska looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Niska pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Knight fails with the takedown.

Niska throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Knight was covering up waiting for the punch and Niska finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Niska won't allow Knight to sweep him here.

Niska wanted to stand there but Knight had control of the position.

Knight had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Niska defends it easily.
Knight has a closed guard, preventing Niska from standing up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Knight wants to get back to his feet but Niska is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Niska decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Supreme Knight dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Knight has his takedown stuffed

and Niska moves into the clinch.
Niska blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Niska tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Niska lands a good knee to the midsection. Knight won't want to take too many of those.
Knight can't break the clinch.

Knight tries to stand and escape but Niska is controlling the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Niska wants to get back to his feet.

Knight passes the guard and advances to mount!
Knight thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Niska wants to get back to his feet.
Knight misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Niska's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Knight swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Niska is now in Knight's guard. A big mistake from Knight there, giving up the dominant position!
Niska wants to stand but Knight has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Knight might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Knight has his foot on Niska's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Niska works his way back into a safe position though.

Knight is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Supreme Knight overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Knight has a closed guard, preventing Niska from standing up.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Knight wants to stand and escape but Niska is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Supreme Knight dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Knight blocks a head kick by Niska.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Niska clinches up against the ropes.
Knight is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Niska is defending well for now.

Niska's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Niska shoots in for a takedown but Knight shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck for Knight with that takedown attempt.
Knight shoots and misses

and Niska counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Niska.
Niska wants to stand but Knight is controlling his posture from full guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Knight is trying to keep Niska in close.
Knight wants to sweep but no luck.

Knight pushes a forearm under Niska's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Niska is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Supreme Knight!
