The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thomson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Thomson wants to control from the top but Blocko keeps moving.
Thomson throws and elbow that misses. Blocko uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Thomson's guard. Nice move by Blocko!

Blocko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thomson.
