Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Josey Wales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Shepherd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shepherd has chosen Eye Of The Tiger as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Frankie Shepherd!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wales slips a jab from Shepherd.
Shepherd throws a series of punches but Wales moves out of range.
Wales steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shepherd.
Wales swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Horrible takedown by Wales or perhaps it was just good defense by Shepherd which made him look bad.
Shepherd misses with a hook. Wales ducked under it nicely.
Wales changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shepherd tries to avoid it but Wales manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shepherd to the ground. Shepherd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shepherd stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Shepherd takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Shepherd lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Shepherd misses with a wild body shot.
Shepherd lunges at Wales with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wales's hand.

Wales avoids a punch combination nicely.
Oh Wales is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A combination from Shepherd does no damage.

Shepherd throws the left hand but Wales avoids the punch easily.

Wales missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wales accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Wales trying to control the position from guard on top but Shepherd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wales tries to free his leg and advance position but Shepherd is retaining full guard.
Wales postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Shepherd throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wales sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wales throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wales fails to land the takedown.

Shepherd listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Frankie Shepherd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wales ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Wales uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shepherd.

Wales shoots in and drives through. Shepherd sprawls well.
Wales is breathing heavily.

Shepherd stuns Wales with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Shepherd scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Shepherd lands with a big left! Wales is wobbled badly! Shepherd comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Wales to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
