Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, johnny apples!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Charlie Pearce!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearce fails with a takedown attempt.
apples jabs Pearce right on the nose. Pearce blinks but takes it well.
apples closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Pearce closes the distance and clinches up with apples, looking for a takedown. Pearce pushes apples against the cage but apples circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
apples scores with a nice head shot.
apples moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
apples wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
apples scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pearce doesn't seem bothered though.
Pearce will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
johnny apples has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Charlie Pearce.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
apples punishes Pearce's body with a nice straight punch.
apples connects with a body shot.
Nice body punch from apples.
Pearce has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Pearce takes a shot to the body in his stride.
apples lands with an uppercut that bounces Pearce off the cage and back into rage.
apples swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pearce.
Pearce is rocked!
apples cracks Pearce on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Pearce falls backwards against the cage. apples follows up with more strikes that drop Pearce to his knees. apples keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Pearce! This one is all over!
