Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcin Migas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcin Migas!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Migas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lewis defends it nicely.
Migas connects with a high kick.
Lewis throws a body kick that misses.

Migas closes the distance and clinches.
Lewis tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Migas smiles and moves away.
Lewis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Migas.
Migas shoots in but no luck this time.

Migas has taken the fight to the clinch.

Migas jumps guard.
Migas keeping full guard, as Lewis tries to pass.
Migas working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Lewis.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lewis throws a big right hand that misses.

Migas is working an open guard so Lewis takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice jab there from Migas.

Migas rushes Lewis and presses him up against the cage.

Migas jumps into guard, dragging Lewis to the mat.

Lewis gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Lewis shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Migas napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Lewis throws a strike aimed at the side of Migas's head but Migas avoids it well.
Migas is looking for a sweep.
Migas looks gassed!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lewis sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Migas is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Migas prevents Lewis from improving position.
Lewis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Migas wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lewis has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Lewis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lewis lands in his opponent's guard.
Migas seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Lewis wants to control from the top but Migas keeps moving.
Lewis landing with the ground and pound.
Migas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lewis drops back looking for a leg! Migas is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Migas manages to kick Lewis off! Lewis jumps back into Migas's guard.
Lewis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lewis slips nicely into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Lewis is working for a submission of some sort.

Lewis wants to work for an arm triangle but Migas is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Lewis moves into full mount! Migas won't be happy about that!

Lewis gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Chris Lewis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcin Migas.

Lewis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Migas is just riding it out for now. Lewis eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lewis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Migas doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lewis.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Lewis dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Migas checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lewis throws a leg kick but Migas sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Lewis closes the distance and clinches up with Migas, looking for a takedown. Lewis pushes Migas against the cage but Migas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lewis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Migas as he jumps to the side.
Chris Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lewis tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Migas moves into the clinch.

Lewis jumps guard and drags Migas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Migas tries to free his leg and advance position but Lewis is retaining full guard.

Migas drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lewis dives on top into guard.

Lewis drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Lewis seems to have locked his on tight now - Migas screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Lewis, as he picks up the win!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Chris Lewis!
