Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conner takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hawkins misses with a series of wild punches.
Conner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Conner throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hawkins counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Conner is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Nice takedown defense from Conner. No joy for Hawkins on that attempt.
Conner takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Conner goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Johnny Hawkins has been cut.
Conner lands with a straight right. Hawkins didn't see that one coming.
Conner avoids the head kick by Hawkins.
Conner misses with a two punch combination.
Conner sizes up Hawkins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Conner cracks Hawkins with a right hand to the side of the head.

Conner looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Hawkins wants to get back to his feet but Conner is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Conner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hawkins is keeping the position for now.
Hawkins wants to stand up but Conner is controlling him.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hawkins is on top in guard.
Conner looking for a sweep. Not yet Conner, not yet.
Hawkins wants to stand and escape but instead Conner has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Conner makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hawkins looking for a guillotine here but Conner defends easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Conner is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Conner scoring with punches to the head and body.
Conner slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Conner has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Hawkins!
Conner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
