Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irene throws an uppercut from half a mile away. simpson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Irene throws a head kick that misses.
simpson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
simpson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

It looks like Me Myself Irene has been cut.
Irene keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

It looks like homer simpson has been cut.
simpson fails with a takedown attempt.
Irene slaps away a takedown attempt from simpson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Irene defending well as simpson loads up on a big left hand.
Irene plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
simpson misses with a wild combination.
simpson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Irene lands a brutal head kick. simpson looks out on his feet and Irene throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
