Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Souza's choice of entrance music: Here Comes the Boom-DMX, Sean Paul. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva moves into range and clinches up with Souza.
Silva tries to pull guard but Souza won't allow it.
Silva content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Silva gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Souza regains guard.
Silva throws a strike but Souza rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Souza trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Souza thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Souza accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Silva controls Souza momentarily but Souza frees himself.
Silva has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Souza has passed into side control.

Souza is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
