The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davenport drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Davenport wants to control but Long is keeping him busy.
Long is looking for a sweep.
Davenport wants to lay and pray for a moment but Long keeps working.

Davenport really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Long. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Long is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Long can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Davenport is looking to escape.

Long looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Long is breathing heavily.

Long is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Davenport to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Davenport shrugs it off.

Long looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Davenport is defending well. Long quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Davenport has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Long celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
