PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawrence Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Campbell has chosen Crazy Train as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diablo throws a nice looking combination but Campbell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Diablo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Campbell tries for a takedown but Diablo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Campbell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Diablo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Diablo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Campbell's half guard.
Diablo is nestled in close to Campbell, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Campbell wants to control but Diablo is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Diablo is stalling here. Campbell is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Diablo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Campbell has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Campbell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diablo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Diablo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Campbell lets go of the hold and Diablo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
