Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rick Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smith's choice of entrance music: Give It All by Rise Against. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smith lands with a cross.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Law does a little dance to reset his feet.
Smith throws a right and a left that Law avoids nicely.
Law dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Smith lands with a cross.
Law closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Law will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Donk. Smith catches Law right on the button with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith throws an overhand right that lands on Law's shoulder, as Law tries to avoid the shot.
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smith jabs at Law's body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Law does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mike Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Law slips a jab from Smith.

Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Law circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith connects with a right hand. Law shakes it off.
Smith connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Smith fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Law manages to avoid it.
Law staying out of range there.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A combination from Smith does no damage.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Law.
A jab from Smith misses.
Law tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith looks to throw the jab but Law is out of range.

Law ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A lazy body kick from Smith
and Law counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Law thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Smith tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Smith defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Law's arms.
Smith tries to roll but Law sticks to his back.

Smith trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Smith controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Law is trying to stick to Smith's back but Smith is turning into Law. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Law's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Smith.
Law has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smith can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Law looking for a guillotine here but Smith defends easily.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Law is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Law is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Law is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well.
Law is breathing heavily.
Smith forces his way into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Smith stands up from half guard.
Smith thuds a left hand into Law's body.
Smith throws a right hand that Law ducks under and follows up with a left that Law also avoids with ease.
Law takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Law has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.
Smith gets to his feet - Law follows without any prompting.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Smith dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Law throws a leg kick but Smith checks it.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Law is just out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Law blocks the leg kick.
Smith keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Mike Smith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Smith takes a swing at Law's ribcage but misses.
Law moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith scores with a nice head shot.
Smith throws a right and a left that Law avoids nicely.
Smith loads up on a big right hand but Law slips the punch.
Smith misses with a few strikes there.
Good standup being displayed there by Smith as he connects with a hook.
The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Law doesn't seem phased though.

A head kick from Law lands but Smith takes it in his stride.
Smith looks to land a combination but Law avoids it well.

Law bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Smith moves out of range as Law strikes.
Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Law is just out of range.
Law throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Law misses with an uppercut. Smith saw that one coming.
Smith ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Law moves away.
Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Law.

and Law counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A slow jab from Smith misses its intended target.
Smith misses with a looping right.
Law tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Smith misses with a leg kick
and Law counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that.

Smith is wriggling around trying to escape but Law has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Smith taps out and Law picks up the big win! Great work there by Law!
