The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuppio throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily.
Nuppio changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smith looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Nuppio cracks Smith with a big right hand but Smith just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Smith is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nuppio has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Smith tries to buck Nuppio off but Nuppio is having none of it.
Nuppio looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Smith is avoiding damage well.
Nuppio lands a nice forearm strike.

Nuppio moves into full mount! Smith won't be happy about that!
Nuppio pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Nuppio lands a big shot to the head and Smith winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
