Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Preston Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabbie Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay has chosen Why Can't We Be Friends as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Preston Barksdale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabbie Jay!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Columbo Gatti and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barksdale takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jay throws a jab when Barksdale was well out of range.
Jay just misses with a punch to the body.
Barksdale will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barksdale misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jay connects with a body shot.
Jay throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Barksdale stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jay works the jab nicely.
Barksdale has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jay finds it's way round the side to connect with Barksdale's head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jay slips a jab and a cross from Barksdale.
A punch combination from Barksdale misses.
Jay connects with a body shot.
Jay dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Barksdale is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jay goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Preston Barksdale has been cut.
Barksdale on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Jay cracks Barksdale with a right hand to the side of the head.
Jay drops Barksdale with a beautiful combination! Barksdale stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jay is looking for the KO!
Barksdale is rocked!
Jay throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Barksdale is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barksdale takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Barksdale seems to have got his legs back now.
Barksdale takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jay digs a good body shot into Barksdale's ribs.
Jay rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barksdale moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jay throws a series of punches but Barksdale moves out of range.
Jay throws a right and a left that both miss.
Preston Barksdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jay connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jay lands with an overhand left.
Jay ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Jay thuds his right hand into Barksdale's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice body punch from Jay.
Jay lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barksdale circles away quickly and effectively.
Jay lands with a nice body punch.
Jay darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jay connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Jay throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Barksdale.
Jay drops Barksdale with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Barksdale looks back up at him and smiles so Jay waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Preston Barksdale's cut is getting worse.
Jay scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jay connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Barksdale tumbling to the canvas! Jay pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Barksdale was done - good stoppage!
