The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bonds is looking to clinch but David is avoiding it.

David lands a left and a right that send bonds crashing to the mat, dazed. David thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like barry bonds has been cut.
David feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to bonds's calf.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

David closes the distance and clinches.

David manages to break the clinch.
bonds shoots in for a takedown but David shows good takedown defense.
bonds looks for a takedown but David sprawls well.
bonds throws out a loose jab but David uses good head movement to avoid it.
barry bonds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
David measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes bonds! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
