Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Criss Hinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hinson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by My Sacrifice. Criss Hinson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Melendez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hinson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Melendez fails to land the takedown.
Hinson pushes Melendez up against the cage in a clinch.
Hinson can't get the takedown.
Melendez has Hinson pressed against the cage, preventing Hinson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Melendez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hinson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Melendez has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Hinson is trying to keep an underhook but Melendez manages to get the takedown into half guard.
