The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kares bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jeramy Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva throws out a loose jab but Kares uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kares turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Kares tries to score a power double leg takedown but Silva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kares somewhat.

Kares shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Kares keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kares circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva drops Kares with a big left hand! Kares is injured, injured bad! Silva jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
