Fredriksson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hot 'n cold. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredriksson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fredriksson manages to break the clinch.
Fredriksson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smolar looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fredriksson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Smolar sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Fredriksson pivots and extends the arm, Smolar falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Fredriksson! Well done that man!
