Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Timmermans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Jameson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmermans fails with the takedown.

A decent looking cross lands there for Jameson.
Jameson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Timmermans.
Timmermans shoots in and drives through. Jameson sprawls well.

Jameson throws a nice looking combination but Timmermans bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Timmermans tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jameson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Timmermans somewhat.
Jameson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Jameson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Timmermans is trying to keep Jameson in close.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jameson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Jameson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Despite being in the dominant position, Oscar Jameson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jameson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Timmermans stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Timmermans needs to keep his hands up - Jameson had a free shot at his head there.

Jeffrey Timmermans's cut is getting worse.

Jameson drops Timmermans with a right and a left! Jameson comes rushing in but Timmermans regains his composure and manages to keep Jameson in guard.

Jameson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Timmermans works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Jameson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Let's hope that Jameson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
