Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tauno Puukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stacey Malouf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tauno Puukko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Stacey Malouf's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tauno Puukko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malouf drives through and clinches with Puukko against the cage.
Puukko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Malouf shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Puukko sprawls well. Puukko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Malouf gets slowly back to his feet.
Puukko thumps Malouf with a low kick.
Malouf fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Puukko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Malouf decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Puukko's guard.

Malouf is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Puukko is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Puukko has escaped and now he's on top!

Malouf has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Puukko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Puukko has hold of Malouf's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Malouf manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Malouf bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Puukko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Malouf drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Malouf as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Puukko screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Malouf! Nice submission victory there!
