Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ismo Taalasmaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urpo Buster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taalasmaa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Buster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Taalasmaa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taalasmaa somewhat.
Taalasmaa ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Buster is looking to clinch but Taalasmaa is avoiding it.
Taalasmaa avoids the body shot from Buster.
Buster tries to clinch there but Taalasmaa circles away.
Buster misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Taalasmaa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buster swivels and escapes.
Taalasmaa shoots in looking for a takedown. Buster tries to sprawl out of it but Taalasmaa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Buster manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ismo Taalasmaa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Buster throws a looping overhand right but Taalasmaa ducks down to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Buster throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Buster throws a looping overhand right but Taalasmaa ducks down to avoid it.
Buster is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

and Taalasmaa counters with a shoot takedown. Buster fights it but they end up in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Taalasmaa is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Buster is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Taalasmaa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taalasmaa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Buster keeps working.
Buster tries to buck Taalasmaa off but Taalasmaa is having none of it.

Buster is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Taalasmaa has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Taalasmaa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Taalasmaa is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Buster looks calm but he's in trouble here. Taalasmaa gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Buster is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Taalasmaa lets go of the hold and Buster can pop his arm back in it's socket.
