Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doyle comes to the cage accompanied by DX. Randy Doyle could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tony Mendez's chin.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doyle misses with a few strikes there.

Doyle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mendez pinned against the cage. Mendez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mendez can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mendez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Doyle!

Tony Mendez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Doyle drops his hands momentarily. Mendez doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Doyle staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Doyle doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tony Mendez!
