The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moses shoots in but no luck this time.
Moses fails with a takedown attempt.
Moses shoots for a takedown but Lono saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Taika Lono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Moses.

Moses drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Lono wants to control but Moses postures up.
Lono knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moses on the ground.

Moses goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lono rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Moses's guard! Nice work there by Lono!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lono decides to stand up, so the ref orders Moses to his feet.

Horrible takedown by Moses or perhaps it was just good defense by Lono which made him look bad.

Lono throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Moses stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
