The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chilcoat dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chilcoat misses the shot to the body.
Chilcoat misses with an uppercut. Azevedo saw that one coming.
Azevedo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Azevedo lands a glancing blow to the side of Chilcoat's head.
Azevedo throws a shot from downtown. Chilcoat moves away and avoids it.
Azevedo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Azevedo throws a jab but it's blocked by Chilcoat.

and Azevedo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Chilcoat shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chilcoat showed some decent athleticism there.

Azevedo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chilcoat pulls his head out easily.

Chilcoat thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Azevedo's head.
Azevedo tries to get to full guard but Chilcoat has control of the leg.

Azevedo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chilcoat pulls his head out easily.
Chilcoat is nestled in close to Azevedo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Chilcoat seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Azevedo is looking to improve his position.

Chilcoat looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Azevedo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Chilcoat stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Chilcoat is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Chilcoat closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chilcoat lands in his opponent's guard.

Azevedo has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Chilcoat should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Azevedo has tightened it up now! Chilcoat should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
