Mallon comes to the cage accompanied by im not afraid. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Mallon.
Mallon walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like John Mallon has been cut.

Mallon drops Myhres with a right and a left! Mallon comes rushing in but Myhres regains his composure and manages to keep Mallon in guard.

It looks like Brantt Myhres has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mallon trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Mallon drops back, looking for a kneebar! Myhres looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Myhres looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Myhres!
Mallon is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Myhres is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Myhres trying to control the position but Mallon is working away.
Mallon wants to get back to his feet.
Mallon trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mallon sneaks out the side door and pushes Myhres away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Mallon dodges the punch combination from Myhres.
Mallon punishes Myhres's body with a nice straight punch.
Myhres looks gassed!
Mallon jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mallon drops Myhres with a big left hand and mounts him. Myhres is in big trouble!

Myhres is rocked!
Mallon softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Myhres is out cold! Mallon jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
