The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parker shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Whitelock manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parker has gone for a leg lock! Whitelock slips out almost immediately though and dives into Parker's guard.

Whitelock decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Parker, up you get!

and Parker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Whitelock's guard.
Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whitelock swivels though and keeps the full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Parker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
