Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Suzy Animale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin McClure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dustin McClure struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Dustin McClure will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Animale moves in looking to clinch but McClure pushes him off.
Animale tries to clinch there but McClure circles away.
Animale throws a head kick but McClure moves out of range.
Animale misses with a wild body shot.

McClure fails to land with a series of punches.
Animale wants to clinch.
McClure shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Animale but Animale pushes him off and we're back to square one.
McClure lands a two punch combo.
Animale steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from McClure. That one must have hurt.
Animale throws a right hand that McClure ducks under and follows up with a left that McClure also avoids with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Animale looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Animale pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
McClure misses with a double jab
and Animale counters with a three punch combo that has McClure backing up. McClure nods at Animale to acknowledge the strikes.
Animale throws a sloppy head kick and McClure moves out of range easily.

McClure blocks the body kick.
McClure lands with a nice combination. Animale backs away looking to recover.
McClure looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
McClure looks gassed!
Animale tries to clinch but McClure is having none of it.
Animale looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McClure is fending him off so far but Animale persists. Nope, McClure circles away and we're back to standing.

McClure clinches but Animale breaks the clinch

and Animale counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Animale won't allow McClure to get back to his feet.

Animale works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Animale in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. McClure tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Animale!
