Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Aschenbreaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glad Tihata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aschenbreaker comes to the cage accompanied by Feuer Frei. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oleg Aschenbreaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Glad Tihata!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tihata throws a low kick but it's checked well by Aschenbreaker.
Tihata pushes Aschenbreaker up against the cage in a clinch.
Aschenbreaker gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Tihata is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Tihata working for a triangle but Aschenbreaker defends it easily.
Tihata is trying to hold Aschenbreaker in close to prevent damage but Aschenbreaker has managed to pass into half guard.
Tihata wants to control but Aschenbreaker is keeping busy.
Aschenbreaker prevents Tihata from improving his position.
Aschenbreaker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tihata does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Aschenbreaker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tihata is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Aschenbreaker jabs Tihata right on the nose. Tihata blinks but takes it well.
Aschenbreaker feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aschenbreaker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tihata is just riding it out for now. Aschenbreaker eventually gives up the hold.

Aschenbreaker is trying to control the action in half guard but Tihata is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Aschenbreaker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tihata keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Tihata, right into the meat.

Aschenbreaker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tihata tries to avoid it but Aschenbreaker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tihata to the ground. Tihata escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tihata throws a head kick but Aschenbreaker moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Tihata, as that shot connected.
Tihata lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Oleg Aschenbreaker has been cut.

Tihata turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Aschenbreaker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Tihata rushes Aschenbreaker and presses him up against the cage.
Tihata throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Aschenbreaker blocks it with crossed arms.
Aschenbreaker jumps guard but Tihata stands there with Aschenbreaker around his waist. Aschenbreaker gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Aschenbreaker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tihata gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oleg Aschenbreaker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Aschenbreaker throws a looping overhand right but Tihata ducks down to avoid it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Aschenbreaker is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Tihata stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Aschenbreaker throws up his legs and catches Tihata in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Tihata tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Aschenbreaker! That came out of nowhere!
