The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ishii shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Grobljan wants to improve his position but Ishii is controlling well.
Well, if Ishii is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Grobljan is staying active underneath Ishii, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Grobljan is looking for a sweep. Ishii is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ishii postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Grobljan to stand up.

Grobljan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Ishii working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grobljan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grobljan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Grobljan rolls with it to try and escape but Ishii cranks on the arm and Grobljan is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
