Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryuga Hideki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and AB Sly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In Flames - My Sweet Shadow. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hideki fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sly throws a right and a left that Hideki avoids nicely.
Hideki wants to clinch up but Sly keeps it at a distance.

Sly shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Sly misses with a head shot. Hideki uses the momentum to regain guard.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Hideki clinches up against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Hideki throws an elbow but misses.

Hideki has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Sly clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Sly has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hideki is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Hideki gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hideki gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hideki apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hideki is just content to waste time from the top position. Sly takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Sly blocks the elbow strike.

It looks like AB Sly has been cut.

Hideki moves in looking to clinch but Sly pushes him off.

Hideki sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hideki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sly defends it well.
