The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munez throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Johnson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Munez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Johnson. Johnson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Munez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Munez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Johnson circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnson stuffs the takedown attempt from Munez. Munez gets slowly back to his feet.
Munez scores with a jab. Johnson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Johnson looks to land a body kick but Munez moved away.
Munez shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Munez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Munez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Munez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Munez throws a nice looking combination but Johnson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
