Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bart Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by Transplants - Romper Stomper. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green misses with a wild combination.
Ryan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Green looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Green is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ryan asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Ryan fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Ryan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Green knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Green wants to control but Ryan postures up.
Green is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ryan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Green is looking to regain half guard here but Ryan keeps moving and retains side control.

Ryan swings around for an armbar but Green sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ryan's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Green is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ryan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Ryan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Green manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ryan has Green in his guard.

Green is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ryan is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Green has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Green!
Ryan has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ryan stalks Green and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Green's face. Green staggers backwards, shaken.

Ryan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Green moves away.
Oh Green is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Green seems to have got his legs back now.
Ryan displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Green throws out the jab.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ryan connects with a nice short shot to Green's temple.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ryan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Green has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ryan is working away from the top position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Ryan counters with a left and a right that stings Green.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Green clinches but Ryan breaks the clinch
and Ryan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Green throws a shot from downtown. Ryan moves away and avoids it.
Ryan throws a hook to the side of Green's head but Green sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Bart Ryan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ryan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Ryan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well Ryan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
