Morehead has chosen The Mystery of Chess Boxing as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morehead tries to clinch up.
Morehead looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Paulista is fending him off so far but Morehead persists. Nope, Paulista circles away and we're back to standing.

Paulista drops Morehead with a nice combination! Paulista dives into Morehead's guard, looking to finish!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Paulista is working for a kimura but Morehead is defending it quite comfortably.

Morehead dives in and grabs Paulista's left leg, looking for a takedown. Paulista pushes down on Morehead's head and hops out.
Morehead is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Paulista lands with an uppercut that bounces Morehead off the cage and back into rage.

Morehead seems to have recovered his senses.
Morehead takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Morehead takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Paulista scores with a nice right hand.
Paulista connects with a nice cross there... Morehead is looking wobbly and Paulista recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Morehead to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Paulista jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
