The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hends shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cumm but Cumm pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hends closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cumm circles away.
Cumm moves in looking to clinch but Hends pushes him off.
Doug Cumm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cumm tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hends paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cumm has closed the distance and engaged Hends in a clinch.
Hends works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hends avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hends postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hends takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Cumm is looking for a triangle but Hends pushes his legs off easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hends accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hends loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hends avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Cumm is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hends connects with a decent elbow.
It looks like Doug Cumm has been cut.

Hends scores with a couple of short elbows.
Hends in side control lands a decent elbow.
That has opened up Doug Cumm's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Doug Cumm's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Doug Cumm's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
